Uscirà il 25 gennaio il nuovo album dei the Get Up Kids: il disco si intitolerà "There Are Rules", sarà pubblicato dall'etichetta Quality Hill Records di proprietà della band e sarà il primo full-length inedito di studio sin dal 2004, anno in cui uscì "Guilt Show".
La band, considerata tra i pionieri dell'emo, si è sciolta nel 2005 per poi riformarsi nel 2008, dando poi alle stampe nel 2010 l'EP "Simple Science"; di seguito la tracklist di "There Are Rules":
